Every little bit helps...
Financial donations are essential to the lifeblood of any non-profit organization. The Arts & Humanities Council of East Texas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is no different. In order to realize our mission to be a positive force in the lives of so many economically disadvantaged youth under the age of 18 (some 82% or more) in the Tyler, Texas, area alone, your support, however small, is vitally important. Whether donating money or time, now more than ever is the time to answer the clarion call. The call to concern ourselves with the human welfare and advancement of those who are less fortunate than us in our community and who simply need someone to care.
A few dollars in charity, or a few hours of volunteering, can have a significant impact. As former first lady Barbara Bush once said, "Some people give time, some money, some their skills and connections, some literally give their life's blood. But everyone has something to give."
It’s a myth that you have to rich to be a philanthropist.
(n) Love to mankind; benevolence toward the whole human family; universal goodwill; desire and willingness to do good to all men.
(It’s also helpful to know if you’re giving to a 501(c)(3) organization, one recognized by the IRS as qualified for tax exemption. You then may be able to deduct your donation from your taxable income.)
Your financial donations are very much needed & always welcomed!
